Since Accenture has allowed me to take such a huge step and take a leave for three months, I have decided to create this sweet little blog. I am creating this mostly because I know these next three months will fly by and other than only remembering that I skied a little, I want to make sure I remember as much as possible. I'm not sure how these next couple months will play out or even the next year or two following, but one thing is for sure. This experience is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Lost videos?
Anyone know how to fix external hard drives? The WD one I have with all my videos isn't working fire some reason. It shows up as a device, but I can't assign a letter drive to it to open it up.
Do you have any other external hard drives? You can try to open the casing for your WD, remove the disk, and mount it in some other drive. If that works, the problem is with the connections in the WD, not the data storage itself. Otherwise, there are lots of data recovery services available that could hopefully save your files from the damaged disk (for a fee).
1.Plug in and turn on the external USB hard drive 2.Right mouse click on My Computer 3.Left click on Manage 4.Left click on Device Manager 5.Expand the USB list 6.Find the USB device for your USB Hard Drive (in my case it was the one that had no description) 7.Right mouse click - Uninstall 8.Turn off the external USB hard drive 9.Turn on the external USB hard drive and let it find and install the driver
